Carnevale @ Foiano

sally-jess-and-iFoiano_ also know as where fleece and confetti bond to create one homogeneous fabric.

Carnevale is a cultural event not unlike the Macy’s parades.   Fun, music, confetti, costumes, floats, mists, and jellyfish.   Well maybe not the jellyfish, but I’m claiming the costume for next Halloween right now_ no one better steal it!

We rode the bus over from Castiglion expecting fences and distance.  Finding neither, it was “in your face” amazing.  Here are my pictures.

Lessons I learned:

Wine is lovely after a parade in a cafe/bar crowded with Italians watching futbol.

Giant dough fried and covered in sugar is good_ until its not.

One spray of silly string or handful of confetti is a declaration of war, regardless what language you might speak.

It was good times.  Ciao!
